I painted this oil painting on one of my many trips to the Outer Hebrides. The unique light, the intense greens, the blues of the sea and the white shell beaches on Harris were inspirational and exciting. I worked on my sketchbooks then painted plein air and finally returned to the studio in the evening to finish the painting.
